Piano Theory Books
Sunday, March 26, 2006A few people have asked me about the bookstore at piano skills. They were looking for books on improvisation, chord theory, composition, and beginning piano. Not to disappoint anyone who uses the biano bookstore, I have dug up some of the best piano theory books that were around.
If you are a regular reader of this site you probably know all of the piano notes from the piano flashcards section. You probably also have a basic idea of what chords are made up of, etc. However, if you are a serious piano player, this will probably not be enough knowledge to make you an expert pianist.
Also, if you are having trouble sitting down and trying to learn you will probably benefit from either a music tutor book, or private lessons. For some people, private study of piano does not work out well and lessons are very useful.
